What happens if I reach my storage limit? >
If you or one of your users is approaching their storage limit, you'll automatically receive notification from ThinkExchange. This way, the user can either delete unnecessary emails to reduce their storage, or they/their administrator can instantly assign extra storage resources using their control panel.
Can I use any of these methods? >
Yes all are accessible from anywhere with the ability through security to limit who and wherefrom. You can connect via Windows, Linux and Mac based operating systems and of course via hosted virtual desktops.
How do I control access to the files? >
With SharePoint you have a user and security menu to let you restrict users and set permissions for directories and files. For hosted file servers you can manage and create users in exactly the same way as you do now, i.e. by clicking on folders and setting sharing permissions.
If I have a hosted file server do I need to have a hosted desktop? >
No, this is not a requirement. You can connect from any device whether in your office, home or abroad!
How often is my data backed up? >
Your data is backed up continuously with snap shots, which are also replicated in an alternate region data center using SAN replication technology.
What if I delete a file and need it back? >
With all solutions you have a recovery feature, which will allow you to restore any files or data you remove accidently.
Where is my data stored? >
With cloud computing, some providers can not tell you which country your data is located in, which means such things as credit card or personal information cannot be stored. ThinkGrid can allocate a country border to your data, ensuring that you know where it is located.
What types of documents does SharePoint allow collaboration on? >
SharePoint lets you collaborate with all the common document formats in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint also supports collaboration through wikis, blogs, shared calendars and tasks.
Can I map my drive to a hosted file server >
Yes, this is possible via a Windows or Hosted Desktop-based operating system.
Can I use a VPN with a file server? >

Can I use WebDAV to connect? >
